Three women escaped unhurt after a car allegedly went out of control and crashed near the Jubilee Hills Metro station on Road No. 5 in Jubilee Hills at around 5:30 a.m. on Monday (March 16, 2026). The Banjara Hills police booked a case.

Police said the women were travelling in a second hand BMW car which was reportedly being used by one of the women at the time of the incident.

According to preliminary information, the car was moving at high speed when the driver allegedly lost control near the metro station. The vehicle rammed the road divider and due to the impact flipped and landed on the opposite side of the road.

The car then crashed into a few vehicles parked along the roadside, causing damage to them. Police suspect that a tyre burst may have led to the driver losing control of the vehicle, though officials said the car was travelling at high speed at the time of the accident.

Police reached the spot after receiving information and began an investigation. “A case under relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act is being added, and an inspector will examine the vehicle to determine whether the accident was caused by a tyre burst or human negligence,” added the officer.
