Renowned Mangaluru-based Konkani author H.M. Pernal (Henry Mendonca) has been chosen for the Sahitya Akademi Award 2025 for Konkani.
The award recognises his work of literary criticism, Konkani Kavyem: Rupam Ani Rupakam, published in 2021.
