The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) has called for a mass delegation to meet the Dean of Students to ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning of messes, following a 20% cut in gas supply to two hostels in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

Letters dated March 11 by Indraprastha Gas Limited to the mess heads of the Sabarmati and Lohit hostels stated that industrial and commercial customers would be restricted to 80% of their average consumption for the last six months, with effect from 6 a.m. on March 11.
