Sobhana K. Nair is Senior Deputy Editor at The Hindu. She has been a journalist for over two decades. She covers both politics and policy for the newspaper. She also co-hosts a fortnightly podcast, The Rearview, which chronicles the history of Indian Science for The Hindu. Her first book, Ram Vilas Paswan: The Weathervane of Indian Politics (2024) not only traces Ram Vilas Paswan’s life story but also provides an insight into India’s coalition era from 1996 to 2014. Her second book, a biography of the Indian Parliament building, will release in 2026.
