Sanjana Ganesh is a senior reporter at The Hindu’s MetroPlus who likes telling stories about people. She began her career in Madurai covering gender, environment and local governance in southern Tamil Nadu. Recently, she authored the book Kick It, Rukku by Karadi Tales for young adults. She also edited and curated a coffee-table book titled Forts of Tamil Nadu : A walk-through by The Hindu and the Department of Tourism, Tamil Nadu. When she isn’t climbing clock towers for her articles or running half marathons, she likes to read books, especially ones with cool covers. She is based in Chennai.
