Ziya us Salam is a widely published author, a social commentator and a seasoned journalist. Some of his recent books include, Being Muslim in Hindu India, Inside the Tablighi Jamaat and Women in Masjid. His book, The Lion of Naushera (co-authored with Anand Mishra), released in the summer of 2025. His book, A Minute A Day, will release shortly. He has been associated with The Hindu group for over 25 years. Based in New Delhi, he is currently Associate Editor.
